This website is just one visible part of an efficient, sophisticated business which exists to meet your travel needs in Italy.

Based in Palermo (Sicily’s largest city), Tradizione Turismo Chat & Tour is an IATA and ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents) affiliated company operated by people with decades of experience in the travel and hospitality fields. Our services are marketed under several brand names, including BOS Hotels, Sicily Concierge, Sicily’s Best and Best of Sicily Tours.

While a number of fine websites facilitate hotel reservations in Italy, this is the only one actually based in Sicily and operated by a firm having direct (personal) contact with the management of the hotels present on this website. That may seem like a mundane detail, but in today’s globalized economy there are relative few ‘local’ companies offering services of this kind.

Our offices are located in central Palermo at Via Gen. Sirtori 25 in the city’s busy Malaspina district. Founded over a decade ago by Vincenzo Ciceraro and Valeria Gulotta, Tradizione Turismo has a number of employees, including more native speakers of English than any other travel services company here in Sicily.

Online since 1999, Sicily’s point of reference on the internet is Best of Sicily, an independently-published travel and destination guide with over two million readers annually; it is not published by a media conglomerate, hard-copy periodical or travel service firm. We do not own Best of Sicily, nor do we have any corporate connection with the publication or editorial influence over its content, but we do advertise our services on the site. Like us, Best of Sicily is based in Palermo where, despite its technological existence as an online publication, the editorial offices are housed in an aristocratic palazzo in the medieval Kalsa district.
